Britt has loved creating since childhood. She took as many art classes as possible in middle and high school growing up and has dabbled in drawing, fashion, ceramics, photography, screen printing, soap making- you name it. It wasn't until around 2012 that she found something that would satisfy her equally left-and-right-sided brain. Something that was both technical, methodical, yet artistic: NAILS!
She started Britts Nail Bar swiftly after finishing nail school in 2017 and has hustled tirelessly to make her salon the greatest around, in every capacity. She loves building positive relationships and providing an unparalleled experience for clients as well as mentoring and building up the other nail artists in the salon. Connecting with other women-owned businesses is one of her favorite parts of being in the small business community.
I hope to see you in our space soon!
"I can honestly say that the universe has always wanted me to be a Nail Tech. I mean I basically tripped and fell into this profession. But I had no idea then that it would be the best fall of my life!
I’ve dabbled in all sorts of crafty trades from creating cute tumblers to t shirt design even brand design. I love being able to think of an idea and see it come to life. Which is why I’ve always loved doing nails and nail art.
I’ve also crafted two sweet human beings! I have a son and daughter who are my world and my little besties. You will catch us at the park or on a walk on any sunny day.
There is so much more to me that makes me, me- & I can’t wait for us to get to know each other. "
I’ve always been drawn to art and from a young age one of my biggest hobbies has been doing nails! Throughout the years something that I could always use to calm and bring peace to myself has been letting my creativity flow.
My sister has been a huge support, from the beginning she let me gift her with some very lumpy looking acrylics and as I started to make a career and really practice daily, my boyfriends nails were looking gorgeous as well. The decision to go full steam ahead with my nail tech career has been amazing, I fully feel like this is what I’m meant to be doing and have never had so much fun, and felt so sure of a job ever before, it truly doesn’t feel like work to me.
Anything painting or sculpting related has always interested me. My father introduced me to painting and taping drywall and I did that for a few years as well, developing techniques and skill that I use even now with nails.
In my free time you’ll catch me at the lake or in the sunshine with my golden/ cocker spaniel mix Milo and family.
Taking care of your nails has always been one of my favorite hobbies! Since I was a teenager, I've always liked to see well done and colorful nails. Gorgeous nails means to me empowerment and well-being, I think every woman deserves to feel good and beautiful, and why not take care of what supports us all day? Our feet!
After a long time working with women and seeing how much fun we had and felt free after having well-groomed nails, I realized that I wanted to live on this: to make women feel well cared for and confident through their nails, since then I haven't done anything else.
I’m a three wonderful girl’s mother, they’re my everything and also I love studying and learn more about psychology; I do love organize things, too.
I hope that soon we can get to know each other and take care of these toes, turn them into mirrors of care and well-being!
Hi there! My name is Darya and I’m a licensed nail technician with five years of experience. I grew up in Kyiv, Ukraine, moving to Baltimore, Maryland when I was 16. After graduating high school I decided to go into the beauty industry and started working for a few years as an esthetician. From there I transitioned into nails, as I wanted to get into something more creative!
My specialties are European e-file manicure, hard-gel application, and dual forms. I’m happy to share every bit of knowledge I can about treating and maintaining your nail and cuticle health, and I’m so excited to bring my passion and expertise to Bethel—working with nails is a dream come true for me and I can’t wait to work with you to help you create your perfect set of nails!
