Unfortunately, no. Not for sickness, snow, or your car breaking down. It is the nature of our business that we exclusively make money by appointments. When you book an appointment, we are both committing that time for you and ONLY you. When an appointment is canceled with less than 48 hours, it is extremely difficult and almost impossible to fill that spot and bring home the income we rely on. Imagine you are required to go into work, get there, and your boss tells you that you are not needed from 2-4 and you would not be paid for your time. This is how our businesses work. Providers lose a tremendous amount of money trying to be compassionate for peoples circumstances, but kindness and compassion will not pay the bills and we can’t afford to take the financial hit for peoples unfortunate circumstances. I hope this helps in your understanding of why we have these policies and we thank you for continuing to support us!
No, unless you have been specifically referred by another nail artist that uses Luminary Nail Systems for structured gel manicures. We DO NOT fill or remove other salons acrylics or hard gels due to many local salons using harmful ingredients (MMA). You can read more about the dangers of MMA in this article.
No, we do not offer “dip” powder nails. Dip powder nails consist of acrylic and glue and our stylists who work with acrylic prefer traditional acrylic with no glue involved.
Yes, head to the "Book Now" page to book an appointment with a specific nail artist.
Nail services are not inherently damaging. Nail salons or other technicians using improper nail preparation or removal techniques can be very damaging to your natural nails. Overfiling your natural nail plate, agressive removal or peeling off your nails are the biggest culprit when it comes to damage to your natural nails. If you are coming to us with badly damaged nails, book a service add-on called "IBX nail repair and strengthening treatment" so we can repair those sad nails before moving onto your service.
While we check in every step of the way during your service, sometimes things dont always go as planned. If you have premature lifting or chipping on your service, please reach out to your stylist ASAP for guidance. Services should last 2 weeks minimum depending on homecare and lifestyle. If you have abnormal lifting on your nails, your stylist may choose to redo the same service (same color/design etc) at no charge, at their discretion. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances since the time we have served you cannot be returned.
